Epiphone SG Modern Figured | Mojave Burst | Haggerty’s Music
Meet the "SG of the Future." The Epiphone SG Modern Figured takes the iconic silhouette of the world’s most famous double-cutaway and packs it with 21st-century performance. Part of the Inspired by Gibson™ Collection, this model pairs a classic mahogany foundation with a stunning 3/4" maple cap and AAA-figured maple veneer in a deep Mojave Burst finish.
Now available at Haggerty’s Music, the SG Modern Figured is a versatile workhorse designed for the player who demands vintage aesthetics with radically updated specifications.
Why the SG Modern Figured Stands Out
This isn't just another tribute—it is an evolution. Every detail has been engineered for maximum tonal range and effortless playability.
- Ultra-Versatile ProBucker™ Pickups: Armed with a pair of ProBucker™ humbuckers, this guitar features coil-splitting and phase switching. Go from thick, high-output rock tones to shimmering single-coil sounds or unique "out-of-phase" textures at the pull of a knob.
- Ergonomic Neck & Heel: The asymmetrical SlimTaper™ neck profile is slightly thicker on the bass side for comfortable chording and thinner on the treble side for lightning-fast lead work. A contoured neck heel provides completely unimpeded access to all 24 frets.
- Premium Appointments: Featuring an ebony fingerboard for a snappy, smooth feel, a Graph Tech® NuBone® nut for superior resonance, and world-class Grover® Locking Rotomatic® tuners (18:1 ratio) that make string changes a breeze while ensuring rock-solid stability.
- Modern Tonal Clarity: An integrated treble bleed circuit ensures that when you roll back your volume, you don't lose your high-end bite—keeping your tone crisp and clear even at lower volumes.
- Posi-Lok™ Strap Buttons: Perform with confidence knowing your instrument is secure, thanks to enhanced strap buttons designed for the active stage musician.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you set up every guitar before it ships?
Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.
How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument. We encourage you to call us before purchasing if you want a detailed in-hand description of any specific guitar.
Can I call and speak to someone about a guitar before I buy?
Yes, and we encourage it. Our team are working musicians, not order-takers. Call us at 605-348-6737 and ask about any instrument in our inventory. We will physically pull it off the wall and describe it to you in detail.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 14-day return policy if you change your mind and the item is returned undamaged. You are responsible for return shipping costs.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Financing options are available at checkout. Monthly payment options are designed to make high-ticket purchases more accessible without requiring full payment upfront.
