The Epiphone J-45 Standard EC carries forward the legacy of the iconic “Workhorse” acoustic with a design that blends vintage-inspired tone and modern versatility. Built with a solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, the guitar delivers the warm low end, dry midrange response, and balanced projection that have defined the J-45 sound for generations. The round shoulder cutaway body adds a contemporary touch while maintaining the full-bodied resonance and rich character players expect from this classic acoustic platform.

Crafted for comfort and expressive performance, the mahogany neck features a Rounded C profile that feels smooth and substantial in the hand without becoming bulky. Its glued-in set-neck construction with a tapered dovetail joint enhances sustain and resonance, while the 24.75" scale length and 12" radius rosewood fingerboard create an easy, relaxed playing experience. With 20 frets and the added accessibility of the cutaway design, the J-45 Standard EC allows players to move effortlessly into upper-register melodies and solos while retaining the familiar feel of a traditional slope-shoulder acoustic.
