The Epiphone J-45 Standard EC Acoustic/Electric Guitar in Honeyburst carries the spirit of one of the most iconic acoustic designs ever created and places it right in your hands with a modern, stage-ready twist. Inspired by the legendary “workhorse” slope-shoulder dreadnought first introduced in 1942, this guitar delivers a warm, balanced voice with rich lows and clear, expressive highs that feel just as at home in a quiet living room as they do under stage lights. Its sweet Honeyburst finish and classic teardrop pickguard give it that timeless, road-tested look — the kind of instrument that feels like it already has stories to tell the moment you pick it up.
Built with a solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, the J-45 Standard EC offers a full, resonant tone with impressive dynamic range and projection. The rounded C-profile mahogany neck and smooth rosewood fingerboard create a comfortable playing experience whether you're strumming big open chords or dialing in more intricate lead work. Equipped with Fishman electronics, including an under-saddle pickup and onboard preamp with volume, EQ, phase controls, and a built-in tuner, this guitar is ready for both studio sessions and live performance right out of the case.
What truly sets this model apart is its effortless blend of heritage and convenience — the Venetian cutaway body design allows easy access to higher frets, while thoughtful details like Grover Rotomatic tuners and a premium gig bag make it a reliable companion for musicians on the move. Whether you're writing your next song, stepping onto a stage, or simply enjoying the feel of a finely crafted acoustic, this guitar delivers the tone and dependability players have trusted for generations. You can find the Epiphone J-45 Standard EC Acoustic/Electric Guitar in Vintage Sunburst available at Haggerty’s Music, ready to become part of your musical journey.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you set up every guitar before it ships?
Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.
How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument. We encourage you to call us before purchasing if you want a detailed in-hand description of any specific guitar.
Can I call and speak to someone about a guitar before I buy?
Yes, and we encourage it. Our team are working musicians, not order-takers. Call us at 605-348-6737 and ask about any instrument in our inventory. We will physically pull it off the wall and describe it to you in detail.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 14-day return policy if you change your mind and the item is returned undamaged. You are responsible for return shipping costs.
