The Epiphone Hummingbird Standard EC captures everything players love about the legendary Hummingbird while adding modern versatility for today’s stage and studio musicians. From the moment you see the iconic tortoiseshell-style pickguard covered in hummingbird and floral graphics, it delivers that unmistakable vintage Gibson-inspired charm. The semi-gloss finish, gold hardware, multi-ply binding, and split parallelogram inlays give it a rich, classic look that feels straight out of the golden era of acoustic guitars, while the cutaway design adds a sleek modern edge and easier access to the upper frets.
Its all-solid wood construction pairs a solid spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides, creating the warm, balanced voice that made the Hummingbird famous. The dreadnought body delivers full low end and strong projection, but with a sweetness and clarity that keeps chords detailed and articulate. Whether strumming big open chords, backing vocals, or digging into melodic lead lines, this guitar responds with a smooth, musical character that feels equally comfortable on stage, at home, or around a campfire. The Rounded C mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard offer a relaxed playing feel that’s immediately inviting.
Built-in Fishman S-Core electronics with the Fishman PreSys II preamp make this Hummingbird ready for live performance right out of the included premium gig bag. Side-mounted controls for volume, bass, treble, phase, and onboard tuning give players easy control over their amplified sound without complicating the experience. Combined with dependable Grover Rotomatic tuners, bone nut and saddle, and hand-scalloped X-bracing, the Hummingbird Standard EC blends timeless acoustic personality with the kind of modern practicality working musicians appreciate.

Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.
How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument.
