The Epiphone Futura SG Custom takes one of rock’s most recognizable shapes and gives it a seriously modern attitude. The familiar double-cutaway mahogany body retains the effortless comfort and upper-fret access that make an SG so much fun to play, while the bound ebony fingerboard, split-block inlays and color-shifting Chromashift finish give it a fresh, contemporary personality. Under stage lights or in front of a camera, the finish shifts and catches your eye from every angle.

The real fun starts when you plug in. Epiphone’s ProBucker Ignite humbuckers deliver plenty of punch and saturation while keeping enough clarity to let individual notes speak, whether you're digging into heavy rhythm parts or opening things up for a lead. Push/pull controls add coil-splitting for brighter, more open sounds, while phase switching introduces another distinctive flavor that can completely change the character of the two-pickup combination.
