The Epiphone Elitist 1965 Casino is a beautifully faithful take on one of the most recognizable hollowbody guitars ever made, bringing the feel and character of a vintage Casino to players who appreciate the details. This Japanese-made Elitist model was crafted with a fully hollow, double-cutaway maple body, a classic Vintage Sunburst finish, and the unmistakable Casino silhouette. With its slim body depth, it has a comfortable feel against the body while the spruce bracing helps give the guitar a lively, resonant acoustic response.
The one-piece mahogany neck carries a 1960s SlimTaper D profile that feels fast and natural in the hand, while the 12" rosewood fingerboard, 22 medium-jumbo frets, and pearloid parallelogram inlays deliver an easy-playing vintage-inspired experience. The 24.75" scale and bone nut give it the familiar Gibson-style feel, while the glued-in neck construction provides a solid foundation for both rhythm and lead playing. Plugged in, P-90 pickups deliver the raw, articulate character that makes a Casino so addictive, with plenty of bite, warmth, and dynamic response that reacts beautifully to your picking attack.
The vintage-style appointments complete the experience, from the multi-ply Casino pickguard and metal E logo to the nickel hardware, trapeze tailpiece, and ABR-style Tune-o-matic bridge with Delrin saddles. CTS 250K audio pots and Orange Drop capacitors keep the controls responsive and musical, while the three-way Switchcraft toggle makes it easy to move between the distinct voices of each P-90. With its Japanese Elitist construction, Gibson USA electronics, vintage-inspired styling, and unmistakable hollowbody character, this 1965 Casino is a particularly compelling choice for players looking for a Casino with serious craftsmanship and plenty of personality. Available now at Haggerty’s Music.

Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.
How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument.
