Built in collaboration with Gibson Custom, this Inspired by Gibson Custom release faithfully recreates the legendary 1964 SG Standard, a model famously associated with players like George Harrison and Eric Clapton. The classic cherry red finish highlights the center-seamed two-piece mahogany body and the iconic bevels that give the SG its sleek silhouette and incredibly comfortable feel.

A one-piece mahogany neck with a long neck tenon adds strength and sustain while delivering the smooth response players expect from a vintage-inspired SG. The comfortable 60s SlimTaper profile pairs with a bound rosewood fingerboard, 22 medium jumbo frets, and mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays to create a fast, effortless playing experience. The open-book headstock features an aged mother-of-pearl Epiphone logo and Gibson crown inlay, completing the unmistakable vintage aesthetic.

Tone comes from a pair of USA Gibson Custombucker humbuckers with Alnico 3 magnets, hand-wired to CTS potentiometers, Black Beauty paper-in-oil capacitors, and Switchcraft electronics for authentic vintage response and clarity. A classic Maestro Vibrola adds expressive shimmer while maintaining the SG’s natural resonance. Finished with nickel hardware and Epiphone Vintage Deluxe tuners, the 1964 SG Standard Reissue delivers historic tone, style, and feel in a beautifully crafted modern tribute.
