Every great mandolin carries a legacy of craftsmanship and tone, and the Eastman MD815PGE-HB carries that tradition forward with striking elegance and modern performance. Available now at Haggerty’s Music, this F-style mandolin draws inspiration from the golden era of American mandolin building while incorporating premium materials and thoughtful upgrades for today’s player. From its richly figured maple to its hand-carved Adirondack spruce top, this instrument is built to deliver both visual impact and tonal excellence.
At the heart of this mandolin is its classic tonewood pairing, solid Adirondack spruce and highly flamed maple, known for producing a powerful, articulate voice with crisp highs, punchy mids, and a tight, focused low end. Whether you're cutting through a bluegrass jam, recording in the studio, or exploring folk and Americana styles, this mandolin offers the projection and clarity needed to stand out. The addition of the K&K Duotone pickup system allows you to plug in seamlessly while preserving the natural acoustic character, making it equally capable on stage.
Eastman’s attention to detail is evident throughout, from the ivoroid binding and pearl flowerpot headstock inlay to the smooth ebony fingerboard and adjustable compensated bridge. The comfortable maple neck and precise setup ensure effortless playability across the fretboard, while the gloss Honeyburst finish highlights the instrument’s stunning figure. Complete with a hardshell case, this MD815PGE-HB is a professional-grade mandolin that blends tradition, beauty, and versatility into one inspiring package.
