This Eastman Kauffmann Series DC Vintage Heavy Relic in Dirty Blonde captures the spirit of a battle-tested, golden-era double cut — reimagined through the lens of Dutch boutique craftsmanship. Built in Holland and finished with an artfully executed heavy relic treatment, this guitar feels like it has already lived a lifetime of smoky clubs, festival stages, and late-night studio sessions. The worn-in Dirty Blonde finish, paired with a roasted maple neck and fingerboard, gives it the look and feel of a cherished vintage instrument — without sacrificing modern precision and reliability.
At its core, the DC Vintage platform pays homage to the timeless S-style formula that shaped rock, blues, funk, and pop music for generations. The roasted Oregon pine body keeps the instrument lightweight and exceptionally resonant, while the roasted maple neck adds snap and stability. Eastman’s patented Long Tenon 2-Bolt neck system enhances sustain and overall tonal transfer, giving the guitar a lively, connected response. The Medium Round neck profile offers a comfortable, substantial grip that feels instantly familiar whether you’re laying down rhythm tracks or stretching out for expressive lead work.
Sonically, this guitar is built for versatility. The Lollar Vintage Blonde pickups in the neck and middle deliver sparkling cleans, woody midrange warmth, and classic single-coil chime, while the Lollar Special S bridge pickup adds extra punch and authority for cutting leads and driven rhythm tones. With a turn of a knob, guitarists can quickly dial into glassy articulation for blues and soul, percussive snap for funk, and dynamic grit for classic and alternative rock. Available now at Haggerty’s Music, a padded gig bag completes this stage-ready instrument that blends vintage vibe with boutique-level tone and feel.
