This used Eastman will ship insured, fully set up, and inspected from Rapid City, SD. This guitar is in very good condition with a couple of scratches on the top of the body (one near the upper binding and one between the bridge and the soundhole), along with a small nick on the bottom side of the instrument, and some light scuffing and wear on top of the headstock. The original pickguard is also missing, and the handle on the accompanying hardshell case is broken.

A dreadnought should give a player enough power to anchor an acoustic ensemble while still rewarding a lighter touch with detail and harmonic depth, and this used Eastman E20D approaches that goal through a distinctly traditional tonewood recipe. The E20D draws from the heritage of prewar-style American dreadnoughts, pairing solid rosewood back and sides with a solid Thermo-Cured Adirondack spruce top and hand-carved scalloped X-bracing. Eastman's emphasis on traditional construction and hand craftsmanship gives the model a familiar vintage-inspired foundation without making it merely a historical reproduction.

The combination of Adirondack spruce and rosewood gives the E20D a voice well suited to players who want projection, headroom, and a broad tonal spectrum. The Thermo-Cured top is intended to provide a more seasoned response, while scalloped bracing allows the soundboard to move freely and develop strong resonance. Players can expect substantial low-end authority, clear and projecting trebles, a rich harmonic character, and enough dynamic range to handle both forceful flatpicking and more controlled fingerstyle work. Those qualities make the E20D particularly at home in bluegrass, folk, Americana, country, acoustic rock, singer-songwriter settings, and recording sessions where a full-bodied dreadnought sound is called for.

A Traditional Even "C" mahogany neck provides a familiar acoustic feel, while offeing comfortable room for both flatpicked and fingerstyle technique all across the 22 fret fingerboard. Abalone snowflake inlays, a pearl headstock logo, herringbone appointments, an ebony bridge, bone saddle, ebony bridge pins, and nickel Gotoh tuners reinforce the guitar's traditional aesthetic.
