The Duesenberg Starplayer TV DLX has earned its reputation as one of the most distinctive semi-hollow electric guitars of the modern era, blending vintage-inspired elegance with uncompromising German engineering. Available now at Haggerty's Music, the refreshed 2026 model refines an already celebrated design with a thoughtfully updated pickup configuration, simplified controls, and stunning new finishes while preserving everything players have come to love about the Starplayer family. It remains an instrument that feels equally at home in the hands of session professionals, touring musicians, and collectors seeking something truly unique.
Its semi-hollow construction features a laminated spruce top, laminated flamed maple back and sides, and a solid center block that delivers the airy resonance of a hollowbody with the sustain and feedback resistance of a solidbody. The result is an exceptionally dynamic voice that excels across an enormous range of musical styles, from blues, jazz, country, indie rock, and Americana to classic rock and modern pop. A beautifully carved maple neck with a Medium D profile and a Plek-processed Indian rosewood fingerboard provide an incredibly smooth, buzz-free playing experience, while Duesenberg's meticulous hand setup ensures every note rings with remarkable precision.
For 2026, the Starplayer TV DLX now features a matched pair of Grand Vintage humbuckers, delivering warm vintage character with outstanding clarity, definition, and hum-free performance. The simplified control layout — master volume, master tone, and Duesenberg's signature rotary three-way selector — makes dialing in exceptional tones effortless, while the renowned Radiator Tremolo offers smooth, expressive vibrato without sacrificing tuning stability. Combined with precision Z-Tuners, premium nickel hardware, and Duesenberg's legendary attention to detail, this guitar inspires confidence every time it's plugged in.
Finished in the striking Catalina Green Burst and protected by a premium Duesenberg Custom Line hardshell case, this Starplayer TV DLX is as visually captivating as it is musically inspiring. Complete with a signed Certificate of Authenticity and factory setup by one of Duesenberg's master luthiers, it represents the perfect balance of timeless style, modern innovation, and world-class craftsmanship.
