Dr. Z Z Wreck Jr. captures the touch sensitivity and musical feel that made the original Z Wreck a modern classic, now in a more compact and manageable format. With 15 watts of all-tube power, this head responds instantly to pick attack and volume-knob changes, moving from shimmering clean tones to rich edge-of-breakup drive with remarkable ease. It is the kind of amp that feels connected to the player, rewarding nuance and dynamics every step of the way.
Its streamlined control set of Volume, Bass, Treble, and Cut makes dialing in great sounds refreshingly fast, while the master volume design helps retain harmonic richness at practical levels for rehearsals, studio sessions, or smaller stages. A 5Y3 rectifier tube adds the soft sag and blooming response players love, giving chords extra movement and single notes a singing elasticity that feels alive beneath your fingers.
Built with turret board construction and an aircraft-grade aluminum chassis, the Z Wreck Jr. is made with the same roadworthy mindset that defines Dr. Z amplifiers. Loaded with NOS Russian EL84 power tubes, it delivers sweet breakup, lively articulation, and dependable performance. For players chasing expressive tube tone with premium craftsmanship and real-world usability, the Z Wreck Jr. is an inspiring amplifier available at Haggerty’s Music.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you set up every guitar before it ships?
Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.
How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument. We encourage you to call us before purchasing if you want a detailed in-hand description of any specific guitar.
