Built around Deering's renowned three-ply violin-grade maple rim and resonator design, the Artisan Goodtime Two delivers the bright, clear projection that bluegrass players love while remaining noticeably lighter than many traditional resonator banjos. The Dark Red Mahogany satin finish, engraved fiddle-shaped peghead, Midnight Maple fingerboard, and Vintage Artisan-style pearloid inlays give the instrument the appearance of a much older classic while maintaining the precision and reliability of modern American craftsmanship. Factory-installed fifth-string railroad spikes at the 7th, 9th, and 10th frets make key changes fast and effortless, allowing players to move seamlessly beyond open G into the keys of A, B, and C.
