Designed alongside bassist Jon Stockman, the Darkglass Alpha Omega is built for players who want bass distortion with serious authority, flexibility, and definition. Rather than relying on a single overdrive voice, it uses two distinct operational-amplifier-based distortion circuits that can be selected or blended to create everything from tight, focused aggression to completely raw and brutal saturation. The result is a pedal that can transform a clean bass foundation into a massive wall of sound while still retaining the punch and clarity needed to cut through a mix.

The Alpha circuit delivers a punchy, tight response with plenty of definition, while the Omega side brings a more unruly, aggressive character that can push your tone into heavier territory. The Mod control lets you move between the two or find your own blend, while Drive and Level shape the intensity and output of the processed signal. Bite adds high-mid presence at 2.8kHz, Growl boosts the low end for a fatter, more saturated response, and the three-band active EQ gives you further control with ±12dB of adjustment at 80Hz, 500Hz, and 5kHz. A Blend control keeps the clean signal at unity gain, making it easy to add massive distortion without losing the fundamental character of your bass.
