Step up your classical guitar tone with the D’Addario Pro-Arte Carbon strings in Normal Tension, available at Haggerty’s Music. These strings are engineered for players who demand clarity, projection, and expressive nuance from every note. The set combines fluorocarbon trebles with Dynacore composite basses, giving you a bright, projecting top end balanced by bold, responsive lows. From the first pluck, you’ll notice superior intonation and a lively dynamic range that responds to both delicate fingerstyle passages and powerful strums, making these strings a favorite among contemporary and traditional classical players alike.
More than just technically refined, these strings tell a story of craftsmanship and performance. Designed in the USA at D’Addario’s New York facility with precision-manufactured materials, they deliver a comfortable feel that supports extended playing without fatigue, thanks to the Normal tension that many musicians prefer for its balanced resistance and tonal output. Whether you’re preparing for a stage performance, recording session, or daily practice, these strings elevate your instrument’s voice with a vibrant, modern character that invites creativity and inspires confidence. Find them in stock and ready to enhance your sound at Haggerty’s Music.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you set up every guitar before it ships?
Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.
How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument. We encourage you to call us before purchasing if you want a detailed in-hand description of any specific guitar.

Yes, and we encourage it. Our team are working musicians, not order-takers. Call us at 605-348-6737 and ask about any instrument in our inventory. We will physically pull it off the wall and describe it to you in detail.
