The Charvel Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 2 HH in Robin’s Egg Blue takes a familiar single-cut silhouette and transforms it into a modern high-performance machine. Built with an alder body, this guitar delivers punchy resonance and clear articulation while its sculpted contours, scalloped lower back bout, and shredder’s cut heel make it exceptionally comfortable for extended playing. The Robin’s Egg Blue finish has a unique character of its own, revealing a subtle pink sparkle when the light hits it at the right angle, adding a distinctive visual shimmer that sets it apart while still keeping its clean, retro-inspired look.

The bolt-on caramelized maple neck is built for speed and stability, reinforced with graphite rods to handle demanding touring conditions and climate changes. A hand-rubbed satin finish on the back keeps the neck feeling fast and smooth, while the compound 12”-16” radius caramelized maple fingerboard and 24 jumbo frets allow effortless bends, fast runs, and comfortable chord work across the entire register. Luminlay side dots make navigation easy even on dark stages, and the heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel allows quick tweaks without removing the neck.

Tonally, the guitar is powered by a pair of Fishman Fluence Open Core PRF-COC humbuckers, offering an impressive range of voices from a single instrument. Voice one delivers a hot-rodded modern humbucker tone with clarity and punch, while voice two recreates a more traditional vintage PAF-style character with balanced output and warmth. Engaging the push/pull tone control activates a third voice that shifts the pickups into convincing single-coil tones, dramatically expanding the guitar’s tonal palette. Combined with the three-way blade switch and mini toggle, the result is a highly flexible instrument capable of covering everything from modern rock and metal to vintage-inspired sounds.

Completing the performance-focused design is Charvel’s HT6 string-through-body hardtail bridge with brass saddles, which provides excellent sustain and precise intonation. Charvel locking tuners and a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut keep tuning stable during aggressive playing and heavy bends.
