Available at Haggerty's Music, this handcrafted Hagerstown, Maryland instrument was developed with Josh Swift, whose career includes 12 years with Doyle Lawson along with performances with The Isaacs and Lyle Lovett, as well as extensive work as a multi-instrumentalist, recording artist, and producer. This example makes an immediate visual statement with its Phoenix Tri-Color Sunburst high-gloss finish over curly maple and includes a protective hardshell case.

The Josh Swift Signature begins with Beard's solid curly maple E-body construction, combining the company's SoftEdge body roundover with an internal upper-bout scoop and soundpost construction engineered to promote high-end clarity, projection, and sustain. At the heart of its acoustic voice is Beard's resonator system featuring an Original #14 Spider, Legend Cone, and Shockwave bridge inserts. A maple neck and ebony fingerboard provide the substantial, stable platform expected of a professional square-neck resonator, while distinctive Shockwave and Josh Swift Signature inlays give the instrument an identity all its own. Black hardware, including the tailpiece, rings, and Shockwave coverplate, provides a dramatic contrast against the figured maple and sunburst finish.
