The 29 Pedals JFET Drive was engineered from the ground up around that philosophy, delivering an exceptionally refined boost with just enough harmonic richness to blur the line between pristine clean boost and low-gain overdrive. Rather than copying a vintage circuit, 29 Pedals built the JFET around carefully biased field-effect transistors, producing the dynamic response and feel that players often associate with great tube amplifiers.

At its heart, the JFET offers up to 18dB of transparent gain, making it equally at home as an always-on tone enhancer, a solo boost, or the perfect foundation for stacking with other overdrive and distortion pedals. A three-position voicing switch subtly reshapes the low-frequency response, allowing everything from a focused, traditional boost to a massive, full-range response that adds remarkable weight without sounding artificially EQ'd. Combined with its sophisticated output driver, constant output impedance, and 29 Pedals' proprietary “WHATEVER” internal power supply, the JFET delivers studio-grade performance whether it's driving long cable runs, feeding additional pedals, or pushing an amplifier into rich, natural saturation.
