-YOU ARE VIEWING PHOTOS OF THE ACTUAL GUITAR BEING SOLD!

This used Supertone Harmony will ship insured, fully set up, and inspected from Rapid City, SD. It is in very good condition with scratching, scuffs, and dings along the entire guitar, notes and chords written on the fretboard, and heavy fret wear that does not effect playability. Our luthier went through the guitar fixing binding around the sound hole and stabilizing the guitar, replaced bridge pins (includes original pegs as well). The case contains a copy of a page 704 of "14th Edition Blue Book of Acoustic Guitars" for excerpt of the company of Supertone. Also contains excerpt of information about Bradley Kincaid from an unknown source, both original and copy of original. Due to the guitar's age, not all specifications could be found.

Buy risk free with our 14 day - full refund, less shipping, return policy. Check out our shop policies for more details.

This Supertone Harmony is a wonderful example of the small-bodied acoustic guitars that helped define an earlier era of American music. Its parlor-sized body pairs a spruce top with two-piece mahogany back and sides, creating a warm, direct voice that feels right at home with blues, folk, country, and early roots music. The aged satin finish and natural top, complete with its distinctive Houn' Dog illustration, give it plenty of vintage personality, while the white aged binding and patterned single-ring rosette add to its period character.

The mahogany V-profile neck has an especially traditional feel, complemented by an ebony fingerboard and simple pearl dot inlays. An ebony rectangular bridge with a bone saddle anchors the guitar's acoustic response, while the slotted headstock and overall construction reflect the straightforward design philosophy of these historic instruments. There are no electronics here, which is part of the charm, this is an acoustic built around its own natural voice and the feel of playing a genuine piece of musical history.

Supertone instruments from this era are increasingly difficult to come across, making this a particularly interesting find for players and collectors alike. This guitar also comes with historical reference material documenting the Supertone name and Bradley Kincaid, adding another layer of provenance and character to an already unusual instrument. Its exact production specifications are not fully documented due to its age, but that uncertainty only underscores the rarity and historical appeal of this vintage Supertone Harmony. Available now at Haggerty's Music.
