Drawing inspiration from revered builders like Antonio de Torres, Hermann Hauser, and Gernot Wagner, Marques has become internationally recognized for his work with “double top” construction — a technique that combines power, responsiveness, and tonal integrity in a way few solid tops can match.

This model features Nomex double-top construction, using a red cedar outer layer over a honeycomb-core structure for maximum strength-to-weight efficiency. This not only provides superb projection and volume but also enables delicate responsiveness and tonal color.
