(Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) process—a proprietary wood-torrefaction treatment that alters the molecular properties of the wood to simulate the tonal maturity of a well-played vintage instrument—with solid mahogany back and sides for a clear, balanced, and naturally resonant voice. The concert cutaway body offers comfortable playability and upper-fret access, while Yamaha’s TransAcoustic system enhances that natural tone with immersive reverb, chorus, and delay that radiate organically from the body itself without external gear.

This latest generation goes further with a built-in looper that lets you record, layer, and build arrangements directly from the guitar, whether you’re stacking melodies or creating rhythmic patterns with tap-style playing. Bluetooth capability allows you to stream audio straight through the guitar’s body, turning it into a resonant speaker for practice tracks or inspiration on demand. Everything is powered by a built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery with a magnetic charging connection, offering up to 5.5 hours of play time.

Control is simple and intuitive, with four streamlined buttons handling effects, looper functions, and Bluetooth pairing, plus a discreet soundhole dial for line-out volume adjustment. The low-profile design keeps the top responsive and minimizes acoustic sound loss, preserving the instrument’s rich natural tone.
