The Stanford Research Systems DS340 is a versatile 15 MHz function and arbitrary waveform generator designed to deliver precision and flexibility in test and measurement applications. Using Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS), it produces high-quality sine and square waves up to 15.1 MHz, with ramps and triangles supported up to 100 kHz, all with an impressive frequency resolution of 1 µHz. It also features a built-in 10 MHz Gaussian white-noise generator and supports both linear and logarithmic phase-continuous sweeps. Synchronization is simple thanks to a rear-panel sweep output, while optional RS-232 and GPIB interfaces allow full remote control of functions and waveform downloads.
With memory for up to 16,300 arbitrary waveform points and playback speeds up to 40 Msamples/s, the DS340 offers extensive customization for advanced testing scenarios. Internal and external FSK modulation enables rapid toggling between preset frequencies, and the included Arbitrary Waveform Composer software makes creating and transferring custom signals straightforward. Housed in a rugged, reliable design, the DS340 provides wide amplitude ranges, excellent waveform accuracy, and low distortion, making it an essential tool for engineers and researchers requiring precise signal generation in the lab or field.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you set up every guitar before it ships?
Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.
How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument. We encourage you to call us before purchasing if you want a detailed in-hand description of any specific guitar.

Yes, and we encourage it. Our team are working musicians, not order-takers. Call us at 605-348-6737 and ask about any instrument in our inventory. We will physically pull it off the wall and describe it to you in detail.
