The Novo Custom Idris HH is a boutique-built instrument with a personality all its own, blending vintage spirit, modern precision, and unmistakable visual character. Finished in Root Beer Sparkle, it carries a warm metallic glow that shifts beautifully under light, giving the guitar a look that feels both nostalgic and completely fresh. Every detail reflects Novo’s custom-shop sensibility, resulting in an instrument that feels thoughtfully crafted from every angle.

The Idris body shape sets this model apart immediately. Its offset-inspired lines and balanced proportions create a design that feels familiar at first glance yet entirely distinctive in practice. Built from tempered pine, the body offers a lively, resonant acoustic character with a strong fundamental note, open mids, and a natural sweetness that translates beautifully through an amplifier. The extra light distress finish adds subtle broken-in character without overwhelming the guitar’s refined aesthetic.

A figured tempered maple neck with a Chunky C profile gives the Idris HH a confident, substantial feel, paired with a rosewood fingerboard and compound 9.5”–14” radius for smooth movement across the register. The satin neck finish keeps everything fast and comfortable, while the MannMade vibrato adds expressive motion with a smooth, stable response. It is a design that balances vintage-inspired feel with modern reliability in a very natural way.
