When a guitarist wants the raw attitude of a classic Rat-style distortion but prefers a warmer voice and smoother high end, this used Fuzz Imp DRAT! revisits an interesting branch of that legendary circuit's family tree. Rather than simply recreating the standard Rat formula, DRAT! is a modern reissue inspired by the Brat variant, preserving its straightforward distortion character while adding conveniences better suited to a contemporary pedalboard. Each pedal is handcrafted in Oregon using all through-hole construction, combining an old-school approach to electronics with a compact enclosure, top-mounted connections, true mechanical bypass, and an indicator LED.

The DRAT!'s warmer voicing and smoother top end make it a versatile choice for players who like the muscular distortion and aggressive midrange associated with Rat-family circuits but want something a little less abrasive in the upper frequencies. It can cover crunchy rock rhythm sounds, saturated alternative and punk tones, grunge, garage rock, heavier distortion, and other styles where a simple, responsive dirt pedal fits the job.
