Great artists often leave a signature not only through their music, but through the instruments that help shape it. The Limited Edition Raphael Saadiq Telecaster reflects the timeless musical vision of one of modern music's most respected producers, songwriters, and multi-instrumentalists. Crafted with skill and soul, this distinctive Telecaster blends the warmth and soul of vintage Fender design with thoughtful modern refinements inspired by Saadiq's decades of creating Grammy-winning recordings, as a songwriter, a solo artist and one-third of the iconic 80’s R&B group “Tony! Toni! Tone!” The result is an instrument that feels equally at home in the studio, on stage, or in the hands of players searching for authentic vintage-inspired tone.
Built around a resonant ash body finished in striking Dark Metallic Red, this limited-edition model pairs classic Fender construction with unique aesthetic details including black body binding, a custom graphic acrylic pickguard, and a serialized Raphael Saadiq neck plate. The maple neck features a comfortable 1959 "C" profile, slab rosewood fingerboard with vintage clay dot inlays, vintage tall frets, and a modern 9.5" radius that combines classic feel with contemporary playability. Custom Raphael Saadiq Telecaster single-coil pickups deliver articulate highs, rich midrange, and unmistakable Telecaster clarity, while the traditional three-way blade switch and master volume and tone controls keep operation elegantly simple.
Every detail reinforces the balance between vintage character and modern performance, from the Pure Vintage three-saddle bridge with threaded steel barrel saddles to the Pure Vintage "Fender Deluxe" tuners and included chrome bridge cover. Available now at Haggerty's Music, this used 2024 Limited Edition Raphael Saadiq Telecaster includes its original deluxe black hardshell case with luxurious red poodle interior, making it a remarkable instrument for collectors, recording musicians, and players who appreciate Fender craftsmanship with a unique artistic voice.
