The Epiphone Futura Les Paul Custom Figured in Rally Red takes the classic Les Paul Custom and gives it the attitude of a hot-rodded muscle car. The transparent Rally Red finish lets the figured maple top shine through, while the bold white racing stripes make sure this guitar will never be mistaken for anything ordinary. Multi-ply binding, an ebony fingerboard, split-block inlays, and the familiar split-diamond headstock keep the connection to the Custom tradition strong, but everything about this guitar feels ready to turn things up.

The Futura is just as compelling in your hands as it is across the room. Ultra-Modern weight relief makes the mahogany body easier to live with, while the sculpted heel, Modern C neck, and 10"-14" compound-radius ebony fingerboard create a smooth, effortless playing experience. Stainless-steel frets add a slick, durable feel that works especially well for bends and faster playing. It has the familiar sustain and authority you'd expect from a Les Paul, but with a more contemporary response that encourages you to push the instrument harder.

Two ProBucker Ignite humbuckers bring plenty of punch and output for everything from thick classic-rock crunch to modern high-gain aggression, while still keeping individual notes clear and articulate. Push/pull controls add coil-splitting and phase options, giving you a surprising amount of tonal variety when you want to move beyond the traditional Les Paul sound.
