Eastman’s FullerTone Series represents the company’s modern take on classic bolt-on electric guitars, blending vintage inspiration with forward-thinking construction. The FT-SC’52 draws heavily from early single-cut, T-style designs, but updates the formula with Eastman’s innovative Fullertone long-tenon bolt-on neck joint. This extended joint increases contact between neck and body, resulting in enhanced resonance, sustain, and a more “set-neck-like” feel while retaining the snap and immediacy players love from bolt-on guitars.
Tonally, this guitar offers an impressively wide palette. The roasted black limba body delivers a balanced, lively response with strong mids and a slightly airy top end, while the roasted maple neck and fingerboard add clarity and stability. The pickup pairing is particularly versatile: a Tonerider noiseless single-coil in the bridge provides classic snap, bite, and articulate twang, while the soapbar humbucker with custom goldfoil cover in the neck brings warmth, thickness, and a smooth, expressive voice. Together, they cover everything from vintage-leaning country and blues to indie, alternative, and roots-rock tones with ease.
Finished in a sleek Ice Blue Metallic satin with anodized aluminum appointments, the FT-SC’52 feels simultaneously retro and modern. The medium-round neck profile, 12" radius, and high-quality Jescar frets make it comfortable for long sessions, whether you’re gigging, recording, or practicing at home. Available now at Haggerty’s Music, it’s a guitar built for players who appreciate classic design but want refined playability, reliable hardware, and thoughtful modern upgrades.
