Who doesn’t love its big, bold, sweeping shape? While giving the nod back to another era, this Suhr Custom Shop Classic JM starts with a sleeker, more refined body shape and adds enhancements to playability previously unattainable to the guitarist interested in a truly vibe-y guitar. Essentially, it's a Classic JM with a Roasted Birdseye Maple v-neck in custom color Surf Green. While there's certainly nothing wrong with standard maple, roasted maple is known to be more stable and lighter in weight, providing more sustain to your notes. It also has a visually darker aesthetic to it giving a more aged look.This Classic JM features dual S90 single coil pickups wound specifically to reproduce vintage P90 tones. Bringing modern playability to a vintage vibe this features the unique contoured cutaway and heel, allowing easier access to the upper register. For optimum tone and stability, the neck joint must not be too tight or too loose, therefore all of Suhr's neck pockets are precisely fitted by hand, by expert craftsmen.Like all Suhr guitars, the frets are Plek leveled and hand dressed for superior playability. The frets on this one inparticular are stainless steel giving them a great smoothness to the playability along with long life. The improved headstock design enhances tuning stability, eliminating the need for a string tree.

This guitar is a wonderful blend of vintage vibe and modern playability with its combination of Alder body and Roasted Maple neck with Indian Rosewood fingerboard, as well as with the superior classic voiced Suhr pickups, fitting nicely in every genre from country to rock.
