The Martin D-28 Modern Deluxe blends vintage soul with cutting-edge innovation, giving players a reimagined version of Martin’s most iconic dreadnought. At its heart is a spruce top treated with Martin’s Vintage Tone System (VTS), paired with East Indian rosewood back and sides, delivering the depth, clarity, and projection the D-28 is known for — but with the rich, aged tonal character of a played-in vintage guitar. A dovetail neck joint and natural protein glue construction further enhance resonance, staying true to Martin’s legendary craftsmanship.

Visually, the Modern Deluxe stands apart with bold appointments like European flamed maple binding, abalone diamond and square inlays, and a 1930s-inspired script logo inlaid in pearl on the headstock. Gold frets, gold open-gear tuners, and Liquidmetal bridge pins with red dots complete the luxurious look.
