The Martin HD-28E Retro stands as a lovingly crafted fusion of vintage inspiration and modern reliability — a dreadnought acoustic-electric built with a solid Sitka spruce top finished in an “aging toner” gloss and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, giving it classic dreadnought projection, depth, and warmth. With a forward-shifted scalloped X-brace pattern, ebony fingerboard, and a modified low-oval neck with high-performance taper, it offers smooth, comfortable playability and a broad tonal palette that responds beautifully to finger-style or flatpicking.
