The Martin D-X1E offers the timeless dreadnought sound and feel in a durable, road-ready package designed for players of all levels. Part of Martin’s X Series, this acoustic-electric guitar is built with high-pressure laminate (HPL) mahogany for the top, back, and sides, providing striking looks and excellent resilience to changing climates. Its dreadnought body delivers powerful projection and a strong low end, making it equally suited for strumming, flatpicking, or singer-songwriter accompaniment across genres like folk, rock, and country.

Playability upgrades include a thinner Richlite fingerboard with a comfort-beveled edge, refined string spacing, and a modern belly bridge contour for a smooth, broken-in feel right out of the case. Equipped with Martin’s E-1 electronics, the D-X1E features a built-in tuner, volume, tone, and phase controls, giving players reliable performance whether on stage, in the studio, or at home.
