The MDM1605 features a powerful pairing of passive Delta S5J single-coil pickups that deliver punchy, dynamic tone with a clear voice across all frequency ranges. These are fed through Ibanez’s advanced Sonitech S preamp, which includes a 3-band EQ with dual midrange banks and an EQ bypass switch for fast tonal shifts between active and passive operation. Need more control? The Hexa Mid system’s 3-way switch lets you precisely shape the midrange to suit any musical setting.

Comfort and control are key here — the MDM body shape ensures perfect balance whether standing or seated, while the Super All Access neck joint provides seamless upper fret access.
