Originally conceptualized in the 1960s and refined by modern Gibson luthiers in Bozeman, Montana, the Player Port projects sound toward the player for a fuller, more engaging feel on stage or at home.

Constructed with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid walnut back and sides, the G-Writer EC delivers crisp, resonant tone across the frequency spectrum. The Songwriter-style cutaway body is slightly thinner for enhanced playing comfort and improved access to upper frets. Its utile neck with an Advanced Response profile offers smooth, effortless playability, while the striped ebony fingerboard adds a sleek, premium touch. The LR Baggs™ Element Bronze pickup system ensures that your amplified tone matches the richness of its unplugged voice, and a padded gig bag is included for convenient protection on the go.
