Based on a rediscovered 1957 Gibson design, the Theodore Standard blends vintage inspiration with modern craftsmanship for a truly distinctive playing experience. Available now at Haggerty’s Music, this model features a lightweight mahogany body with bold double Florentine cutaways for full fretboard access, paired with a SlimTaper mahogany neck topped with an Indian rosewood fingerboard. The scimitar headstock is fitted with Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners for rock-solid stability, while an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and aluminum stop bar tailpiece deliver excellent sustain and resonance. Outfitted with a ’57 Classic neck pickup and a ’57 Classic Plus bridge pickup, it offers a versatile tonal palette ranging from warm vintage cleans to articulate, harmonically rich overdrive. Finished in Antique Natural and protected by a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, the Theodore Standard comes complete with a hardshell case and Gibson accessory kit.
