Available now at Haggerty's Music, this cutaway version of the beloved square-shoulder dreadnought adds modern performance flexibility to its timeless design. The combination of a solid Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides delivers a rich, articulate voice ideal for strumming, flatpicking, and fingerstyle alike. Whether backing up vocals in a folk ensemble or taking center stage with intricate lead work, the Hummingbird EC responds with warmth, clarity, and projection.

The mahogany neck is shaped to a comfortable Round SlimTaper profile, paired with a smooth rosewood fingerboard adorned with mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays. A compound dovetail neck joint and hot hide glue construction ensure exceptional resonance and structural integrity. The onboard L.R. Baggs VTC pickup system delivers a clear, natural amplified tone with conveniently placed volume and tone controls inside the soundhole. Additional premium features include Grover Rotomatic tuners, TUSQ nut and saddle, a rosewood belly-up bridge, and the classic Hummingbird graphic pickguard. This model includes a Gibson hardshell case.
