Its all–AA koa body delivers the unmistakable character players seek from this revered tonewood—clear and articulate on first touch, then gradually blooming into a richer, deeper voice as it opens up over time. The jumbo body shape offers expansive low-end presence and piano-like projection, while Taylor’s Legacy X bracing keeps the response balanced, controlled, and dynamically expressive across the entire register.

Visually, the figured koa is elevated by refined bloodwood appointments that frame the instrument with warmth and contrast. The chamfered bloodwood binding outlines the gloss-finished body with crisp definition, while the figured Hawaiian koa backstrap with black underlay adds a subtle custom flourish.
