The Epiphone 1957 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue is a faithful tribute to one of the most iconic electric guitars in history — capturing the magic of the original '57 Goldtop with incredible attention to vintage-correct detail. Developed in collaboration with Gibson Custom, this reissue bridges the past and present, offering players the timeless tone, look, and feel of a golden-era Les Paul at a more accessible price point. Finished in a soft Vintage Gloss Double Gold, it features a carved maple top over a solid mahogany body, a long-tenon set neck, and vintage-inspired hardware and electronics that replicate the golden age of electric guitar design.

Tone and feel are front and center with this instrument, thanks to a set of USA Gibson Custombucker pickups with Alnico 3 magnets, delivering the warm, articulate response that made the earliest PAF humbuckers legendary. CTS potentiometers, Bumblebee paper-in-oil capacitors, and Switchcraft components ensure a dynamic, responsive tone circuit that feels alive in your hands. The one-piece mahogany neck features a substantial 50s Rounded Medium C profile and a 12" rosewood fretboard adorned with mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays — giving players a comfortable, period-correct playing experience with unbeatable sustain and resonance.

Other standout features include a nickel-plated ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, historical aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, and the elegant Gibson-style “open book” headstock with aged mother-of-pearl Epiphone logo and Les Paul gold silkscreen. The historically accurate aesthetics extend to the cream binding, gold top hat knobs with dial pointers, and brown control cavity covers. This model comes with an Inspired by Gibson Custom hardshell case featuring a brown exterior, pink plush interior, and Custom Collection graphics, along with a Gibson accessories kit.
