The Gibson The Paul II in Red Wine is a classic, no-nonsense rock machine that delivers the legendary tone and playability Gibson is known for. Constructed with a solid mahogany body and a set mahogany neck, this guitar offers rich sustain and warmth. The rosewood fingerboard provides smooth playability, while the D-profile neck ensures a comfortable grip for both rhythm and lead playing. Equipped with the original Gibson 490R neck pickup and 498T bridge pickup, this guitar produces a dynamic range of tones, from warm, bluesy neck tones to aggressive bridge bite. The electronics include a three-position selector switch, along with dedicated volume and tone controls for each pickup, allowing for versatile sound shaping. The tuners have been upgraded to Grover Rotomatics for enhanced stability, while all other hardware remains original. This used Gibson The Paul II is in excellent playing condition, with only a slightly loose 6th string tuner that remains fully functional. Includes a hardshell case for secure transport.
