The Fulltone Full Drive 3 builds on the legendary FD2 design with upgraded circuitry for more versatility and an even more amp-like feel. Featuring both a JFET input and a JFET op-amp, it delivers rich, tube-like tone without tubes, along with ultra-high input impedance that pairs seamlessly with any pickups. A 3-way clipping switch lets you choose between classic symmetrical clipping, wide asymmetrical chime, or pure op-amp overdrive for aggressive, cutting tones. The FD3 also includes fully independent overdrive and boost channels, with an order toggle for placing the boost before or after the drive stage. With buffered bypass for signal integrity, a Germanium diode limiter for enhanced dynamics, and compact, board-friendly housing, this pedal is a powerful and flexible tool for players seeking expressive overdrive.
