Sapele, often likened to mahogany for its similar appearance and tonal qualities, made its debut in Taylor's lineup in 1998. Since then, the sapele/spruce combination in our 300 Series has introduced countless players to the rich, all-solid-wood acoustic experience. Now, the limited-edition 50th Anniversary 312ce LTD honors that legacy. This Grand Concert model features a cutaway design with solid sapele back and sides, paired with a torrefied Sitka spruce top. The result is a beautifully balanced and resonant tone, offering clarity, warmth, and responsiveness.

Taylor's special torrefaction process adds subtle depth and sweetness to the spruce top, giving it a slightly darker, aged character from the very first strum. Inside, the V-Class bracing enhances pitch accuracy while increasing volume and sustain, ensuring rich tonal performance across the fretboard. The slim neck and low action deliver Taylor's signature smooth playability, and the shorter scale length reduces string tension, making fretting easier and more comfortable.

Visually, the 50th Anniversary 312ce LTD stands out with gemstone inlays, a striking firestripe pickguard, shaded edgeburst, and a gloss-finished body. Special touches for this anniversary edition include a commemorative label, gold Taylor tuners, and ebony bridge pins with gold acrylic dots. The guitar also comes equipped with an onboard ES2 pickup system and ships in a Deluxe Hardshell Case, making it ready for any performance.
