Forward-shifted, scalloped Golden Era Sitka spruce bracing — borrowed from Martin’s Modern Deluxe Series — adds breathy, vintage-inspired resonance. The select hardwood neck features a satin finish and a GE Modified Low Oval profile with a high-performance taper, making long playing sessions comfortable and effortless. A thinner ebony fingerboard with a gently beveled edge and refined string spacing ensures exceptional comfort for all playing styles. Finished with vintage-style open gear tuners, an ebony modern belly bridge, and abalone inlays, the Martin D-17 delivers powerful sound and refined craftsmanship in equal measure.
