This used 6.4 lb Gibson will ship insured, fully set up, and inspected from Rapid City, SD. This guitar is in good condition with some light scratches across the top of the instrument and a medium-sized dent above the pickguard, some moderate buckle-rash along with a trio of dings on the back of the instrument, aged coloring on the fretboard binding, and a few dings on both the bottom of the guitar and on top of the headstock.

The Gibson SG Standard captures everything players have come to love about late-’60s SG models: sleek styling, legendary tone, and uncompromising playability. Crafted with a solid mahogany body, this guitar produces warm resonance and singing sustain, while the bound rosewood fingerboard paired with a rounded-profile mahogany neck ensures smooth, comfortable playability across all 22 frets. A long tenon neck joint at the 19th fret enhances sustain and resonance, giving this SG a feel and response that works beautifully for both rhythm and lead playing.

The tonal heart of this instrument lies in its 490R and 490T humbuckers, which offer vintage-voiced clarity with enough output to push an amp into growling overdrive.
