The Epiphone 1942 Banner J-45 Reissue revives the legendary “Workhorse” with a faithful recreation that blends vintage tone and feel with modern stage-ready features. Solid mahogany back and sides paired with a thermally aged solid spruce top deliver a warm, woody low end, a present midrange, and clear, singing highs. Its short 24.75" scale length, V-shaped mahogany neck, and laurel fretboard provide a comfortable, responsive feel that suits everything from folk strumming to intimate singer-songwriter performances and bluesy fingerpicking. Equipped with an L.R. Baggs Element Bronze VTC pickup system, this J-45 is ready for both recording and live performance, offering natural, dynamic amplified tone.
