At the heart of this '59 Country Gentleman is a pair of TV Jones® pickups—a Super’Tron Classic Plus bridge pickup and a Super’Tron neck pickup—delivering articulate, expressive tone with stunning clarity. A modified control layout featuring an individual bridge pickup volume, master volume, and master tone allows for a versatile range of sounds. The addition of Gretsch "Squeezebox" capacitors ensures a smooth taper and a silky, vintage high-end that defines the Great Gretsch Sound™.

Built for effortless playability, the standard "U"-shaped maple neck with a 1.75" nut width is paired with a 12"-radius ebony fingerboard and 22 vintage-style small frets, making it a dream for fingerpickers and fast lead players alike. The pinned rocking bar bridge and Bigsby® B6GWVT vibrato tailpiece offer expressive pitch control without compromising tuning stability, while the genuine bone nut allows for smooth string movement with no binding.
