The Gibson L-00 Special brings the legendary small-body design into the modern era with premium craftsmanship and a stage-ready pickup system. Originally introduced in 1932, the L-00 has remained one of Gibson’s most iconic acoustic models, known for its focused, nuanced tone and remarkable projection. Built in Bozeman, Montana, this USA-made guitar features a solid Sitka spruce top paired with solid mahogany back and sides, ensuring a warm, articulate sound with a tight bass response. The SlimTaper™ utile neck and rosewood fingerboard provide smooth playability, while the L.R. Baggs™ Element Bronze active pickup ensures excellent amplified performance. Finished in a satin nitrocellulose lacquer for a vintage-inspired look, the L-00 Special includes a premium soft shell case—available now at Haggerty’s Music.
