Created with the developing player in mind, the Taylor Academy 22e Left-Handed model delivers comfort, playability, and rich tone in a compact Grand Concert body — now available at Haggerty’s Music. Featuring a solid walnut top and layered walnut back and sides, this guitar offers a warm, articulate tone with impressive clarity and note definition. The hardwood top’s natural compression lends a smooth dynamic response that’s great for fingerstyle and light strumming alike.

With a slender 24-7/8" scale length, narrower body depth, and the signature Taylor Neck profile, the 22e is highly accessible to players of all sizes and experience levels. A built-in armrest carved from walnut enhances the ergonomic feel, making this guitar easier to play for longer periods. It also features Taylor’s ES-B electronics, which include a digital tuner and onboard preamp for natural-sounding amplified tone and convenient tuning on the go.

Finished in a clean matte sheen and packaged with a padded gig bag for protection, the Academy 22e is the ideal introduction to Taylor quality for left-handed players.
