The Taylor Academy 12e-N is designed for players who crave the warm, articulate voice of nylon strings in a comfortable, accessible package. With its compact Grand Concert body, this nylon-string acoustic-electric delivers a clear neo-classical tone that’s perfect for fingerstyle, classical, or light strumming styles. The solid torrefied spruce top enhances projection and adds warmth and depth, while layered walnut back and sides provide a stable tonal foundation. The 1-7/8" nut width offers ample string spacing for clean fingerstyle execution, and the ergonomic armrest improves playing comfort during extended sessions. Outfitted with Taylor's ES-B electronics and an onboard tuner, this model is stage-ready and student-friendly. Includes a lightweight Taylor gig bag for easy transport.
