Available now for pre-order at Haggerty’s Music, the Fender Custom Shop 1969 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic captures the magic of a late-'60s Strat with expert craftsmanship and a touch of road-worn character. Finished in a stunning Faded Daphne Blue lacquer, this guitar blends vintage aesthetics with modern playability, making it an exceptional choice for collectors and performers alike.

Built from select 2-piece alder, the body is paired with a flame-sawn maple neck featuring a comfortable 1969 "U" profile for a substantial, vintage feel. The 9.5" radius 1-piece maple fingerboard and Jescar Vintage (45085) frets offer smooth playability with classic Strat articulation.

Under the hood, Custom Shop Hand-Wound '69 Single-Coil Strat® pickups deliver iconic late-'60s tones with the added benefit of a reverse-wound/reverse-polarity (RWRP) middle pickup for hum-canceling in positions 2 and 4. The Fat '50s Strat® Wiring with 1/2 Blender allows for extra tonal flexibility, while a 5-way switch ensures access to a wide range of legendary Strat sounds.

Vintage details include a 3-ply parchment pickguard, Custom Shop Vintage Synchronized Tremolo, and Vintage "F" Style Tuning Machines, all designed to maintain the authenticity and feel of an original '69 Strat. A bone nut and American Vintage '65 string tree round out the premium appointments.
