Bringing back the spirit of early rock ‘n’ roll, the Gretsch G6119T-62 Vintage Select Edition '62 Tennessean™ Hollow Body with Bigsby® is a timeless classic that delivers rich, resonant tone and vintage-inspired style. With its fully hollow maple body and parallel tone bars, this guitar projects a vibrant, airy sound that cuts through any mix with That Great Gretsch Sound™.

Equipped with TV Jones® Hilo’Tron pickups, the Tennessean produces a broad tonal range with dynamic clarity, capturing the natural resonance of the hollow body. The traditional Gretsch control layout—individual pickup volume controls, master volume, and a three-position tone switch—offers endless tonal possibilities, while Gretsch “Squeezebox” capacitors add a smooth, vintage high-end shimmer. A pinned "rocking" bar bridge and Bigsby B6CVT vibrato tailpiece work together for effortless expression and rock-solid tuning stability, complemented by a vintage-style bone nut that allows for smooth string movement.

Built for comfort and classic playability, the standard "U"-shaped maple neck features a 12”-radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets, providing an effortless feel for everything from rhythm comping to soaring leads. True to its vintage heritage, this Tennessean is adorned with nickel G-arrow control knobs, aged white binding with black purfling, aged pearloid thumbnail inlays, and a silver vintage plexi pickguard with the iconic Gretsch logo. Finished in a durable gloss urethane and fitted with nickel Grover® Sta-Tite™ tuners, this instrument is as reliable as it is inspiring.
