The Jimi Hendrix™ “Love Drops” Flying V™ from Epiphone, in collaboration with Gibson Custom and the Hendrix family, is an iconic tribute to the legendary guitarist's pioneering spirit. This Inspired by Gibson Custom model recreates the guitar Jimi played extensively from 1967 to 1969, originally a Sunburst, which he hand-customized with psychedelic graphics. These graphics, which were personally painted by Hendrix, are faithfully reproduced on this model.

The guitar features a mahogany body, a one-piece mahogany neck with a rounded C profile, and a laurel fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. The back of the headstock is adorned with an Inspired by Gibson Custom logo and a reproduction of Jimi's signature, adding a personal touch. The Epiphone Deluxe tuners provide stable tuning, while the short Maestro™ Vibrola™ ensures smooth vibrato action.

Electronics include a pair of Gibson Custombucker humbucker™ pickups, wired to high-quality CTS® potentiometers, a Mallory™ tone capacitor, and a Switchcraft® 3-way pickup selector switch with a 1/4” output jack for superior sound quality.
